Beijing launches green electricity consumption accounting mechanism to support green transformation. Jointly arranged by the Beijing City Development and Reform Commission and Beijing Electric Power Trading Center Co., Ltd., the new mechanism introduced by the Capital Electric Power Trading Center will track the green electricity consumed by electricity users through green electricity trading and renewable energy for their own use. Under the new mechanism, all types of electricity users can voluntarily set up green electricity consumption accounting accounts at the Capital Electric Power Trading Center, including group accounts and sub-accounts. The Capital Electric Power Trading Center provides green electricity accounting services for electricity users. At the same time, it cooperates with the Beijing Electric Power Trading Center to calculate the full circulation of green electricity use, including the use of relevant industrial chains and supply chains. In addition, the Capital Electric Power Trading Center will issue green electricity consumption logos and announce the list of "green cities","green parks" and "green enterprises" leaders under the authorization of the government, as well as the capital's green electricity consumption rankings.

In the "Electricity" Bright Zero Carbon Future Activity, 10 companies including Beijing City Sub-Center Investment and Construction Group Co., Ltd. were rated as the leaders in the responsibility of green electricity consumption in Beijing City in 2023.
